Restoration and repair of new and valuable antique furniture and cabinetry is our specialty. Antique Services Inc. provides expertise with all kinds of furniture, from the latest modern designs to the most refined historical objets d'art.

We perform furniture repairs, restorations and refinishing work with a small dedicated team of skilled craftsmen and artists. Our woodworking is done almost entirely by hand, using hand tools in the traditional ways.

Repairs may involve regluing of loose furniture joints, re-laminating and replacing veneer, fabricating a missing molding, or even restoring a dog-chewed chair leg ! 

Refinishing is also a process we do by hand.  We will help you select the color tones for your antique to be “historically correct” or to otherwise suit your taste and decor.

We start with careful hand stripping, hand sanding, and detailed preparation work. Then we continue with the stain, sealer, and finishing materials. We produce custom finishes ranging from a casual country oak color and shine, to more sophisticated walnut or mahogany, including full grain filled and high polish finishes.

These finishes include antique and faux paint finishes and handmade and applied stains, glazes and toners. Our finishes include two-part catalyzed polyurethane topcoats. All finishes are hand rubbed to achieve that warm, rich patina of the ages.

We also achieve the finest furniture/automotive quality painting using premium grade automotive materials, machine and hand polished to show car quality shine.
